Say It Isn't Snow?

Living at the beach, it doesn't snow here often. So much to our surprise, there was word of the white stuff making its presence. We've heard that before here, we didn't think much of it. While at dinner Friday night, I got a text that it was snowing. My son of course, was so excited, he got up to go see and for sure, it was really coming down. We rushed through our dinner and took a video from my phone to send to my husband. And when we got home, I popped the lens on the camera a took a night shot.

The kids were so excited with the possibility of snow play in the morning, they didn't want to go to sleep. The joy of being a kid! The next morning, they were up before the sun...way too early for mom. They laid back down for a little while, I was thankful. When they got up again, they opted to skip breakfast for the moment and got all bundled up to play outside in the cold...burrrr! They had so much fun! This is what it looked like when we woke this morning.
